My review on the ACER Chromebook R11.
I purchased this laptop because of the computer specs that can be utilized by me and you. This laptop is powerful and fast due to its MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology. Searching the web is quick and the laptop is very quiet, unless when you are typing quickly.
The Intel Celeron N3150 Quad-Core Processor 1.6GHz with Intel Burst Technology up to 2.08GHz makes this Chromebook fast and reliable for those who have multiple of applications running or tabs opened. Sometimes I have a few tabs open.
This laptop was on sale at Bestbuy for $260 (original price – $299.99) and I saved a decent amount of money and very pleased with this purchased. I like the feel of the laptop because it is very light and it beats the weight of a Macbook. I still think of buying a Macbook, but I haven’t made up my mind.
The Google Chrome operating system competes with Apple as having a built-in virus protection that way you don’t have to spend money on a third party vendor just to protect your laptop. I think that was the main reason I have this Acer Chromebook, because of the protection within. The Camera takes clear pictures and the video quality while chatting is good.
Aside from the protection, quick web browsing, clearer pictures, and video chats I think the best feature from this Chromebook is the ability to bend it . Watch the video:
It is touchscreen no matter which way you bend, for example, if you have the laptop in its original position like most laptops then you can still touch the screen to move a page or to click. I would advise to make sure your fingertips are clean otherwise you will have to go back and wipe down your screen.
Bluetooth is enabled within this laptop just like most modern laptops and the battery life of this Chromebook can last up to 10 hours and that depends on how often you would use, so keep the charger close by.
